It never rains in Southern California???

One thing I wasn’t expecting at WorldSummit was the hint of rain. It was late yesterday when I arrived but this morning its cloudy and I even felt a few drops when I went for a walk earlier today. Italians always seem to get the credit if there is good weather. The same is not true for Irish people. I am hoping that if the weather deteriorates one of the other Irish people here can take the credit.

Today is the pre-conference Workshop day and already there is a lot of people around. As Bill reported yesterday excitement is building. Some of the conversations at breakfast focused on time difference, jet lag and travel. There was also a lot of old friends greeting each other. Idiom may be the common connection but many of our guests here know each other independently and it is great to see people greeting friends at our conference.

As the workshops got going the rain has been getting worse. This is not bad when people are in meeting rooms attending workshops on WorldServer but tonight we have our welcome reception outdoors. Lets hope it does not stay raining in Southern California.
