Language Weaver and Idiom Technologies Host Webinar to Educate Businesses on How to Achieve Increased Productivity in Development of Multilingual Content

As demand for multilingual content grows, companies combine forces to showcase improved workflow processes for speed and cost-efficiency in translation

LOS ANGELES and BOSTON – Jan. 15, 2008 – Language Weaver, a leading software company developing enterprise software for the automated translation of human languages, and Idiom Technologies, a leading independent supplier of SaaS (software as a service) and on-premise server-based globalization management systems (GMS), will host a one hour webinar educating businesses on the process and benefits of modern translation automation that integrates statistical machine translation (SMT) with translation memory. The complimentary webinar, which features industry-renowned business leader and lecturer Jaap van der Meer of TAUS/Cross Language, will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11 am EST.

The webinar is designed for companies with high volume translation needs, translation and language service providers, and technology providers interested in integration. Interested parties can register online by January 29 or can contact Language Weaver directly at 310-437-7300.

“This webinar came about because of the growing interest we receive from companies wondering how they can possibly meet the demands of delivering accurate multilingual content in a timely manner to customers around the globe. They are under pressure to meet higher and higher standards for translation accuracy while reducing costs – and meanwhile the amount of content to be localized grows and grows,” says Kirti Vashee, vice president of sales and marketing for Language Weave. “This seminar will inform and educate them on technology that has the potential to leverage their own translation content and meet the objectives set before them.”
