Rowecom Turns To Idiom, Inc. For Globalization Of Flagship Service Kstore

Accelerates Delivery of Knowledge Acquisition Management Service to International Audience

Cambridge, MA - January 6, 2000 - Idiom, Inc., the premier provider of Web globalization solutions, today announced it was selected by RoweCom, Inc., (NASDAQ: ROWE), to globalize RoweCom's Knowledge Store (kStore). RoweCom's Web-based kStore allows business and academic users to effectively acquire, manage and use personalized, user-specific knowledge resources including real-time news, magazines, newspapers, journals and books.

Through a combination of Idiom's Global Readiness Assessment™, WorldServer™ Web-based globalization technology, and implementation services, RoweCom is tailoring its kStore application for customers around the world. RoweCom expects the internationalization to enhance the kStore's usability, navigation and merchandising for RoweCom's existing clients as well as attracting new customers.
