Industry Veteran Joins Web Globalization Leader; Brings Proven Expertise in Building Enterprise-Level Global Solutions Companies
Cambridge, MA - November 11, 1999 - Idiom, Inc., the premier provider of Web globalization solutions, today announced it has named Frederick J. Lizza as CEO and president. Lizza is a 20-year industry veteran with vast experience building enterprise-class software solutions and professional services organizations, and taking companies public. As CEO and president, Lizza will guide Idiom's rapid growth as the leading Web globalization solutions provider worldwide. Lizza's responsibilities include driving the company's overall strategy as well as leadership and management of marketing, sales, and financial functions. He will also focus on developing worldwide strategic alliances with key industry partners. With Lizza's appointment, Idiom co-founder Eric Silberstein becomes chairman. Silberstein will continue to play an integral role in realizing Idiom's vision, conceiving new Web globalization products and services, and working with customers in the implementation of their Web globalization initiatives.

Before joining Idiom, Lizza served as president and CEO of Infinium Software, a $130 million publicly held enterprise application software vendor in Hyannis, Mass. While at Infinium, Lizza led the company to significant revenue growth and an IPO, while transforming the business to an international multi-platform application software and consulting services vendor.
Prior to Infinium, Lizza was vice president and general manager of Waltham, Mass.-based Trinzic Corporation's Data Access Products Division. Before that Lizza held various senior management positions at AICorp. Lizza has also held marketing and product management positions at GE Information Services in Andover, MA and Rockville, MD. In addition, Lizza has served as an independent marketing consultant for several technology companies, providing strategic planning. He has also worked for Arthur Andersen&Company as a senior accountant.
