Idiom Doubles Revenue On Increasing Worldserver Sales

Major Enterprises Adopt WorldServer to Enhance Translation Efforts and Reduce Globalization Costs

Waltham, MA USA - May 4, 2004 - Globalization Management Systems (GMS) leader Idiom Technologies, Inc., today announced that sales of its flagship WorldServer technology have increased by more than 100 percent within the last 12 months. Idiom also announced that it expects revenue to double once again over the next 12 months, based on increasing demand for WorldServer, as well as new revenue streams attributed to the company's new Global Electronic Publishing solution.

Within the last 12 months, organizations including Autodesk, Citrix, eBay, European Union, Network Associates, Oracle, and Symantec have significantly reduced their translation costs through new or expanded WorldServer deployments. These companies and others have automated their translation processes for Web content, marketing collateral, product packaging, documentation, customer help, and other forms of content, to shorten product release cycles, enhance customer satisfaction and increase global revenues.

"Some of the most prominent, multinational companies in the world have deployed our technology to become simultaneous enterprises, and deliver up-to-the-minute content around the globe in more than 30 different languages," said Joe Fiorentino, president and CEO of Idiom Technologies. "The demand for WorldServer continues to increase as global companies recognize the need to increase their translation quality, reduce translation time, and decrease their overall localization costs. It's been a great year for Idiom, and we're confident that our growth will continue to accelerate in the year ahead."

Industry analysts, such as Forrester and Gartner have published extensive research on managing international Web sites, and deploying content of any kind, in any language, simultaneously. The needs identified in much of this research focus on finding a balance between global consistency and local diversity; integrating translation capabilities with existing content management systems; and managing the global content lifecycle in a manner that enables organizations to create content once, and deploy it throughout an international enterprise, simultaneously.

Idiom WorldServer addresses these needs in a manner that enables companies to automate their localization efforts, and assure the quality of their translations--which helps to increase global revenues, by shortening product delivery cycles, while also increasing international customer satisfaction, by delivering more comprehensive documentation and customer support.
