Idiom Appoints Tony Dolph And Ed Spies To Senior Management Team

Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - January 23, 2006 - Idiom® Technologies, Inc. (Idiom), the leading independent provider of scalable software solutions for accelerating and optimizing globalization initiatives, today announced it has appointed Tony Dolph as vice president of marketing and corporate development, and Ed Spies as vice president and corporate controller.

Tony Dolph brings 20 years of experience in technology marketing, business development and strategic planning to his role as vice president of marketing and corporate development at Idiom. Previously, Dolph was vice president of marketing and business development at Artel Video Systems where he managed the evolution of the company's market strategy and product plan.

Prior to Artel, Dolph served as vice president of marketing, business development and planning at Media 100. While at Media 100, he helped lead the company's entry into the streaming media market, which contributed to its growth from a $1 million business to $73 million business over a 5-year period. Dolph also served in senior marketing roles at Progress Software Corporation, Prime Computer and Computervision. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as well as a degree in Chinese language and literature from Beijing Foreign Language Institute.

In his role as vice president and corporate controller at Idiom, Ed Spies is responsible for leading the company's finance, accounting and human resource functions. Previously a senior consultant with River Ridge Consulting, Spies provided accounting and financial reporting expertise, as well as operations support services to technology and professional services companies.

Prior to River Ridge, Spies was corporate controller at Books24x7, a leading provider of web-based digital, technical and business reference content. While at Boooks24x7, he played a key role in the successful sale of the company to SkillSoft. Spies began his accounting career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided a broad range of advisory services that included supervising and conducting financial statement audits. He earned an MBA and master of science in accounting from Northeastern University and a bachelor of science in management from Clarkson University. Spies is also a Certified Public Accountant.
