Case Study: WorldServer Integration with Software Localization Framework at Adobe
Des Oates, Adobe Systems
Neeraj Bezalwar, Quagnito Solutions

Adobe has been using WorldServer for localizing their documentation and websites. Software localization was however still being executed using conventional procedures. Due to the long history of software development at Adobe, it had many home-grown file formats and proprietary processes.

Adobe partnered with Quagnito to develop a seamless integration of their software localization framework with WorldServer using Web Services. The challenge was to develop a universal file format specification and outsource the translation to WorldServer.

This presentation gives an insight into the integration architecture, challenges and benefits of integrating the software localization process into WorldServer.

Choosing a GMS: What Matters to Clients, What Matters to LSPs
Véronique Ozkaya, Moravia Worldwide

At Moravia, as an independent LSP using independent technologies, we get to speak with a broad range of clients about their needs and requirements for systems to manage their global content. They come from different industries, are companies of various sizes; some have existing solutions in place, while others are just starting to explore what a GMS such as WorldServer has to offer, and what the best deployment model might be.

The speaker shares her practical experience with what matters to clients today; the questions LSPs get asked; what clients expect from LSPs as regards GMS; what their concerns regarding technology are; and how LSPs can best help clients in this respect.
